Chocolate Peanut Butter
Does anyone have a recipe for chocolate cookies with peanut butter?
It has oatmeal in it at all, only peanut butter and chocolate?

Here goes … Annette Funicello Peanut butter chocolate chip cookies 2 c Unsifted flour 1 c sugar 1 / 2 teaspoon baking soda 2 eggs 1 / 4 teaspoon salt 1 TB water 1 / 2 c corn oil margarine, softened 1 teaspoon vanilla 6 oz chocolate chips semi-sweet 1 / 2 c Skippy cream or super chunk peanut butter In a small bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl with mixer at speed low beat the margarine, peanut butter, eggs, water, and vanilla until blended. Add the flour mixture, beat until blended. Increase average speed, beat 2 minutes. Optional: stir chocolate pieces into the dough. Drop by rounded tablespoons 3 inches on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten slightly with bottom of glass flour. Bake in 375 F oven 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a rack. Store in airtight container. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes and remove to racks of wire to cool completely. Makes about 4 1 / 2 dozen cookies PAN COOKIE VARIATION: Grease 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. Prepare the dough as before, stirring in 1 cup Swirled Morsels. Spread into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining Swirled Morsels. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until browned. Cool in pan on a grid. Makes 4 dozen cookies. HEIGHT TO PAN (5,200 m) Increase flour to 2 1 / 2 cups. Add 2 teaspoons. water with flour and reduce both granulated sugar and brown sugar to 2 / 3 cup each. Melt 1 cup chips in heavy small saucepan and heat to lowest possible heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Beat sugar, 1 / 3 cup butter peanut butter and vanilla in large bowl. Beat in the melted chocolate. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually, beat in flour mixture. Stir in remaining chips. cover and refrigerate until firm alone. Form into 1-1/2 "balls, press your thumb on top to make approximately 1 / 2 "deep depressions. Place on a ungreased baking sheet. Fill each depression with about 1 / 2 teaspoon peanut butter. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F 10 to 15 minutes or until the sides but centers are still slightly soft. Cool for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
